Up the wooden stairs to the first floor, and you'll find the generously-proportioned living room, off the back of which is the compact kitchen.

The living room comes in two colour schemes: cool crisp blue and white in the summer, and warm rich reds in the winter months (November to March). To entertain you there is a flat screen TV with Freeview and a DVD player, and a Sony hi-fi system with CD and MP3 CD player, Digital and FM radio, a USB socket for your MP3 player, and an i-Pod docking station.

Both the dining table and the console table were hand-built by local company Carbon out of reclaimed timber from Rye Harbour. |

In the compact yet perfectly-formed kitchen, you'll find a four-burner ceramic hob, a combined grill/oven, an eight-setting dishwasher, an under-counter fridge-freezer, an extractor hood, a microwave oven, kettle, toaster, and all the pans and crockery you will need. Keeping with the eco theme of dunescape, we do not use harsh cleaning chemicals. Bio-D washing-up liquid and Ecover Dishwasher tablets are all provided for you, as are Fairtrade tea and coffee. |

Through the large french windows at the end of the room sits a spacious West-facing deck, perfect for taking in the evening sun. Steps down from the deck lead you to the outside shower, the communal garden, and the short path to the beach. |
